My version is the same as above and with additional ingredients:

pinch of 21 seasonings from Trader Joe's
pinch of Cumin Powder
pinch of Tumeric Powder
4 drops of OREGANO Essential Oil
Instead of spinach, I used mixed Kale & Greens

Mix everything in crock pot (except for spinach or mixed Kale)
Slow cook for 8-10 hours or until lentil thickens
Mine actually took longer since I have a vintage crock pot.

Add spinach or mixed kale at serving.... Voila! Bon apetite!

I love cooking with essential oils! It enhances the love in the kitchen!

Almond Milk & Chia Seeds Pudding

Thanks to my wonderful friend, Marseeya, who introduced me to Chia Seeds and suggested that I make pudding out of it.  I created my own version of Almond Milk Chia Seeds Pudding, but this time it's with a heap of love....

Ingredients
2 1/2 cups almond milk
3 tablespoons agave nectar
1/2 cup chia seeds (3 ounces)
1/2 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest OR use a heap of love with
3-5 drops of doTERRA Lemon Essential Oil

Directions:
In a 1-quart of masonry jar, mix in the almond milk with the agave nectar.
Close the jar and shake to combine really well.
Add the chia seeds and lemon zest to the jar or Lemon Oil.
Close and shake some more.
Refrigerate until very thick and pudding-like,
at least 4 hours or overnight,
shaking or stirring occasionally.
Serve the pudding in bowls.

Prepare ahead
The pudding can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.

SERVE WITH
Citrus sections, diced mango, berries, almonds
and extra agave nectar for sweetness to your liking.
Definitely use your imagination here!
This is why I love this pudding because of its simple recipe
and you can add more toppings at the end!
It's perfect for breakfast on the go and for a refreshing snack!

*All ingredients are Organic

3-5 drops of doTERRA LEMON Essential Oil

Using Lemon Oil was more delicious than using an organic lemon zest
Add fresh organic fruits.

How do you BREATHE?

I am a yoga practitioner 5 to 6 times a week. Sometimes, I wonder what I can do to eliminate the thick smell in the room from the previous class. It's hard to breathe. What do you do? Nothing, right? Maintain the etiquette, flow with the smell and try not to have the BO like some.

However, that’s natural so I will not pass judgement.  Heck, they may say something about me and my scent? Who knows? As everyone knows that you can’t smell or notice your own natural aroma, unless someone notices it for you. Whether it’s from natural body odor or sprays of chemical perfume. We all know that it’s not yoga studio etiquette to wear perfume during practice.  My golly, that would tickle my nose as I perform my “ujjayi” (*See below for definition).

Back to my point, I did notice some yoga teachers will turn on the fan after the thick sweats of yoga class lurking in the room. Thank you! And some teachers will not. And thank you too. So, I ask myself, "How do you BREATHE?"

Consequently, I decided to bring the essential oil blend, BREATHE and put this bad boy around my nostrils before class.

And so it is...my respiratory system during my practice was more clear and able to have an abundance of “ujjayi” without constraints. Additionally, going back to the desert from tropical paradise has given me the gift of dry congestion and allergies. It's wonderful for my allergies. BREATHE Essential Oil is amazing and one of my favorites. I diffuse it all the time especially before bed. And now I have a small vile to take with me everywhere to prepare for any congestion issues or block out any unwanted odor. And so, this is how I BREATHE.

How do you BREATHE?

*Ujjayi (pronounced oo-jai) is an ancient yogic breathing technique that helps calm the mind and body. Commonly translated as “victorious breath,” Ujjayi has a balancing influence on the entire cardiorespiratory system and releases feelings of irritation and frustration.

Do you suffer from cold sores?

The other day,  I went camping at the desert and moon gazed under the stars for hours.  The desert nights are dry with chilly winds. The following evening, I felt a tingly sensation on my lip. It's not the kind that you get from something pleasurable. The sensation was brewing that a cold sore was on its way.

Immediately I opened up my book, which is my bible and lifesaver when it comes to medicine.

I discovered that Melaleuca is one of the oils used to treat cold sores.

And let's try to understand.....

Melaleuca oil (Melaeuca alternifolia, or more commonly known as tea tree oil) has been used to heal wounds by cultures around the world for many centuries.  The plant leaves from myrtle shrubs and trees are steam-distilled into oil, and said to be 12x the antiseptic strength of phenol.

Directions:
*Apply 1-2 drops directly to cold sore
*Repeat at least 3 times per day, up to every 2 hours.

I applied Melaleuca oil to cold sore once before bed, once the next morning and once in the afternoon. The puffiness, painful and tingling sensation gone! Cold Sore has moved on to a reduced, cracked and dry skin.

My curiosity is relentless, so I continued to research online.

"A cold sore is caused by the Herpes Simplex Virus 1 (HSV-1). A large percentage of the population carries the virus. Unlike antibiotics and prescription drugs, essential oils can penetrate cell membranes, which is where viruses live – within the cell. This makes it extremely effective at not only stopping cold sores, but killing other viruses as well."

And the most strongest anti-viral oil is...

Oregano.
In order for this intricate virus to dissipate and fast! I had to try the strongest anti-viral!

So, I applied 1 drop of Oregano oil & rubbed in the affected area. Beware of the smell, taste and sting of oregano, which is extremely strong. Yet, soothing.

After the sting was gone, I applied Fractionated Coconut Oil to my lips for moisturizer.

24 hours later...it's holistically healed.

*Please understand that every body chemistry is different and some oils may work better for you. Applying a small amount of oils of your choice with  fractionated coconut oil in the affected area is recommended.

This is why I love essential oils! This is why I would love the opportunity to share them with you.
